Outside

Actually being outstationed has it benefits, it means having mr bean soymilk and pancakes everyday! ( FAT) total freedom (almost), getting to call the shots(no doctors), working at a much needed relaxed pace, internet/magazine abuse, free time to go through what i want to do and what i want to buy.

Of course there are downsides too, the long travel time. Its all the same from my home anyway. Travel time to snec – 1 hour travel time to geylang polyclinic- hour plus. And i may be unaware of what goes on in snec : ( furthermore, im refracting on little kids, so it means i have to be very responsible with the prescriptions i give out. but ive weighed it out, pros outweigh the cons anytime!
And the best part about my work are my colleagues. They are a crazy bunch and i love them! Have been going out with them almost every week. They are what make my work bearable : ) of course, the work itself isn’t so bad. So i don’t resent it.

somethings i just dont get

its funny when im on the verge of giving up, it just comes to me. i swear everything has a mind of its own. but, sadly, this only happens for some trival things, never academic.

Example 1:

ok, this is a very stupid case of me being very stubborn. the thing about me is like i like making small bets with myself. i'll be thinking like ' oh, this bus will come 5 mins later, just give it more time ' oh, since this bus past already, my bus is sure to come soon. and if it does come true, i'll be like happy for the rest of the day. but normally, bus 61 doesnt respond to my whim and fancy.

i was fed up with waiting for bus 61 [which usually takes 5mins-1/2hr to come. yes its that long!] after school [caption: when im tired and grumpy]. and when i mean fed up, im not exaggerating. i can feel my blood rising, being super pissed at the bus driver, and fighting the urge to scold. (childish! LOL) .. okayokay, anyway back to the topic, yup so when i just made up my mind to stop being loyal to bus 61, and take like another bus, 75, bus 61 comes like 1 minute later. @.@

Example 2:

already gave up hope on snec, thought they just ignored my application. and while vacation-ing in hongkong a few weeks later, shirlyn msged me telling me that snec dint even get my application. No wonder they dint even call me for an interview. So i applied again and went for the interview, but no news so far :/

i dreamt about kissing my bioscience lecturer.
The dream went something like that.. He was busy with finding documents to sue my lasik surgeon for my blotched surgery. And i was really touched by that.

48 kg before food, 50 kg after

Staying up the entire night always leaves me feeling nauseous and moody
but a loss of appetite and a super flat tummy is always welcome!

Monday and Tuesday was spent at costa beach resorts, Sentosa.!
Im really grateful for this little getaway before the start of a hetic worklife.
The company was awesome and time passed really quickly.
Strip blackjack defintely came up tops on my list. Big thanks to jordon for coming up with that game.
barbeque food, slow walks down the beach in the wee hours of the morning, burying my feet into the soft silky sand, scooting to vivo for take away breakfast and after, dragging my beaten down body back home was all part and parcel.
I really loved the time spent there and it would defintely make a nice memory to reminsce upon.

And of course it was exhilrating, to know that im being watched closely by someone nice.
Confidence in myself played a very huge factor.
But..Maybe overactive imagination took over.

and after that night, i was very sober about my issues.

i seriously think my , nonsensical yet full of wise encouragements, coursemate should consider moonlighthing as a fortune teller.
She told me that morning, that my mole on my eyelid signifies a crybaby.
and true to that, 1 hour after, i broke downdue to stress.

Right after chalet, i zoomed all the way to Vivo, Tangs to get my Martina Pink purse. I swear its everything i wanted. Granny-oldschool-whimsical-clasp purse!

Wednesday- outing with shirl and yuting , life with specs
Its odd that even though we are so close, we only went out a couple of times.
I enjoyed myself tremdously.! We went into a frenzy with trying on super outrageous heels in newlook.
Anyway, time passed like super quickly. Like super duper
8 hours in ION seemed like 2 hours, seriously.
And i swear it was love at first sight with that very pair of heels i saw in charles and keith.
Its super whimsical looking and fun!
I snapped it up almost immediately ( ok.... only after 1 hour)

P.S. i left both the bags and heels at my friends house. Telling them that i would only reclaim it back after payday. The heels was a loan, from yuting, whom i promised that i would pay back once i get my payday. Oh dear, it seems as though i would be a really busy girl on my payday(Eng,Yuting,2010)

Thursday- Lasik examintation.
my power was outrageous , so was my pupil size ,and theres like a ridiculous difference of 1.25 in my RE and LE.
Hence, the doctor predicted some difficulties in my procedure. as in glare and haloes wont go away completely. and my power only had a 99% of being fully corrected.
Honestly, im super afraid of going under the laser. and the recovery process. i do hope i recover in time for shopping spreee with huiyang in my new heels (Yippie!)
My eyes will be weak and all after operation tomorrow. I sincerely hope i wont trip on my way down the stairs from gleneagles.
And after, i would be cut off from the world for at least 3/4 days. : (

i should seriously start blogging with more life and more pictures!
trying to blog with more exclaimation marks and smiley faces
i think my blog translates such a sad feeel in the past
went shopping with bestie yesterday! keep forgetting to take photos on outings with her though... : (
went bugis and im proud to announce that i only bought two items!
well, i was not satisfied with my buys..

the past few days had been all about fyp
my only salvation is that i get to meet my loved one (bestie and sexays) after fyp!

when im shopping with inez, i find unexpected items and i get such a buzz when i go back home!

sudden mood swings i must add
i went from feeling super high to downright low...
the week started out okay when i thought i was quite confident of my results..
but the marks i got didnt really tally with my semi hard-work(?).. think my study method was wrong? missed out some critical parts

today was filled with highs and lows! the mood totally heightened in the afternoon and the evening.
but as the night dwelled on, i started getting that hateful hollow, empty feeling again.

wonder whats it caused by? that things with jeslin are not going as well as i thought? the dissapointment of possibly getting to know his true character( that is, if i have the chance) ? the dissapointment of mingyan not msging? not studying and preparing for clinic tomorrow? or just being an average prick in everything(studies, clinic, life)
maybe having no motivation to just get my life started and not having as many close friends as i would like? thats probably the bigger factor and gets me down all the time

how i wish i could rewind my life and erase what happened in poly year 2

i hate to admit it..but ive morphed into such a spendthrift lately! told daddy to buy me curious eau de perfume and lancome fatale mascara from dfs....even though he just got me the coolest birthday present (lancome makeup kit and gorgio armani's diamonds)

im so random that i even went to mix and match my clothes from japan. i cant believe i saw someone wearing my top in cameron highlands 0-0 i know right?

This is a combination of olive green leggings topped with a grey plain dress and a tie dye(?) scarf to sort of 'jazz' it up. 0-0 'jazz' is such a uncool word to use.... plus my messy desk and purplish-pink bed.

think it looks kinda funny. COMMENTS? anyone?

cause i went to far east to get my heels and bangles, and i ended up being very satisfied! : )

Did a little window shopping as well, temptations everywhere.

Saw a lot of stuff that i wanted, defintely going back to get it.

There was this ruffled dress that my mum made me tried on, it turned out to be great!

I absolutely loved it! Gave me a much fuller figure and it was in sorta washed out demin material, totally hot! But, mum dint let me get it in the end : (

i just bought a new bag today!

the 'IT' bag---fringed bag (http://www.thefashiontime.com/2008/07/fringe-bag-mania/)i finally made it in time with the fashion trends for once!

i was like 'woah' when i saw the bag and immediately went into the shop.

when i tried it on, i swear i could hear bells ringing in the back of my head.

THAT WAS IT, I WAS HOOKED! bought the bag and i went giggling all way home. oh yeah, and thanks mummy for getting me the bag : ))

last wednesday was pure addiction!

i had dinner with natalie (pena)and her sis at swensons. again, i was broke. from the accumulated debt loooong ago, i owed karissa 20 bucks?

we did a lot of catching up : ) i hope we could meet up more often though :/

oh oh oh, and after dinner we bought muffins for widj (who couldnt make it for dinner D : ) thought it would be a great touch if we popped over her house. Gave up after 20 minutes of waiting+ringing of doorbell. Called her and found out that she was at her project site (?). So, we left her a cute postcard in the bag of muffins before heading home. WIDJ! u owe us one!

I got this mascara from my cousin!she bought a couple of this mascara set online and gave me one. Sweet! : D 'Flamingo' mascara, weird brand. But who cares? If it works, any name is fine by me. HAHAH

I was so estactic when my brother handed it over to me. I was like typing in caps lock to my friends on msn that i got a new mascara!

Oh well, everyone has a weakness for something. My weakness is for mascara (at least for now). To think that a few weeks ago, i was still fussing over the fact that im going to have to stick to Fasio for very very long, cause thats the only water/smudge-proof mascara that suits my price range.

This mascara set promises to lengthen lashes by 300%! i know! abit too exaggerating. But it does lengthen my lashes by at least 2 times? This mascara set comes with 2 tubes. One tube of black mascara (transplanting gel) and one tube of fibre gel. It is water/smudge-proof and fits me to a tee, since my eye makeup smudges easily . And amazingly, it comes off with just warm water! Eliminating me the hassle of having to splat the makeup remover pad on my eye for at least 10 minutes.
To my delight, i also found out that this mascara was recommended by 女人我最大 (my all-time favourite show)!!
